WHERE DID YOU MEET?
At Ingrid's tea ceremony wedding party at her JKT house, on 8 Dec
2007.
WHATS YOUR
IMPRESSION?
CHY = At the tea
ceremony, the house was full of my family and relatives. All of
the sudden, there's a stranger laughing so loud that I could hear
all the way from the dining area that's located at the back of the house. When I turned to look
who's that, there I saw Steve smiling so wide that I could barely
see his eyes anymore. At that moment, I tought to myself "This man
is so brave and shameless, but gosh, I like his smile".
STIV = I found Cherry
as a gregarious girl in the party. She seems know how to handle
many things in many situations. She is not afraid of expressing
her feeling and ideas. I like it.
THEN WHAT?
CHY = We only chat
for awhile at the tea ceremony. When he tried to walked towards
me to talk more, his bro called to picked him up already. Good thing
we met up again at the night banquet, where we practically just
talk non-stop.
STIV = I asked her
out the next days after the party. Then we both talked a lot and
enjoyed the times. Since then, my interest on her has grown =)
WHAT DO
YOU LIKE ABOUT HIM/HER?
CHY = His beautiful
smile that makes me always want to smile along with him too. His
maturity and wisdom, he's down-to-earth and a Buddhist too.
STIV = We have many
common grounds such as foods, comfortable weather temperatures,
traits of perfects relationship and family, believe, etc.
HOW DID
YOU GET HER, STEVE?
By webcam ;P We spent lots of our times talking and dating on webcam.
Then I went to Singapore to get my first kiss from her..HAHAHA..
WHAT HAS
STEVE DONE TO CAPTURE YOUR HEART, CHERRY?
The fact that he's brave enough to asked me out that soon, being
so calm and friendly in front of my family, and we could just talk.
Oh yah, his smile is the winning factor definitely =>
WHAT MAKES
YOU GUYS GETTING MARRIED SO SOON?
CHY = Well, it's
more like he wants to get marry soon and I felt there's no point
of waiting anymore since Steve completes me.
STIV = I feel I've
found what I'm looking for.
HOW'S THE
PROPOSAL?
CHY = At vihara
after praying ritual. Everyone was busy talking when he suddenly
shout "Guys, can I have the attention please. I've an announcement
to make" and suddenly walked towards me (in kneeling position, since
everyone was sitting on the floor already) and said "Cherry, will
you marry Steve?"
STIV = Like what
she said plus it was done in front of her parents. Since they were
in L.A already that time, I figured it was a perfect time. I proposed
Cherry and asked for her parents' permission at the same time. Thus
I don't have to return to Indonesia for another proposal again.
Also, things are way easier when my parents and her parents met,
as job's half way done. Another great thing, it was in a vihara.
I hope it show my good intention and seriousness of want to live
together with Chy.
NOW THAT
YOU ARE TOGETHER, WHAT HAVE YOU DISCOVERED ABOUT HIM/HER?
CHY = He's indeed
a wonderful, sweet and loving man. I love him more and more each
day. I always feel so safe and secure being with him. He makes me
experience what is true love, being love and care for, and not to
be afraid expressing my feeling anymore. He allows me to be who
I am and true to myself.
STIV = She has many
good traits as a young energetic woman is and many of them are still
uncovered. Though there are also couple things that we don't match,
it just makes our love more colorful. Every day is another chance
for me to get to know her more and she helps me to improve myself
to be a better man. My love towards her grow deeper every day. I
only hope our love and relationship will grow stronger by each day, so we could share these with our family and children.

CHY = Yup. I want Steve and Cherry juniorsss.
STIV = Yes.
